About our Wraparound care.
Lympstone Preschool is a high-quality childcare setting, which was graded GOOD by OFSTED in 2021.
Our aim is to provide a caring and stimulating environment, giving children the opportunity to develop in a warm and friendly, home-like atmosphere, learning respect towards themselves, others and the environment. We encourage children to be confident, independent and develop their self-esteem. Our most important priority is to have FUN!
Our indoor environments are well-equipped with lots of fun activities and board games. We set up daily stations where children are able to do activities such as with Lego, arts + crafts, HAMA bead making, jewellery creations, board games. themed weeks and much more.
Opening and closing times.
We open at 8am (7.45am start under special circumstances) until 6pm Monday-Thursday, 5pm Friday. We will drop our breakfast school children down to Lympstone Primary School for 8.50am and will collect the after-school children at the end of the main school day at 3.30pm. A Healthy breakfast will be served to all children wanting it, who arrive by 8:30am. A healthy snack is also provided for the afterschool club.
*Please note that we would not be able to collect or drop children outside of these time slots, so if required please arrange for an alternative nominated adult to collect from any clubs/trips to drop to preschool.
Prices
- Breakfast Club 8am – £6.00 (7:45am at special request £7.50)
- After School Club – £9.00 collection at 5pm – or £12.50 collection at 6pm
Military Wraparound Funding
The WAC (Wraparound Childcare) scheme is designed to assist working service families with the cost of before and after school childcare during term time for children aged between 4-11 years.

Booking your space
Please email completed application forms admissions@lympstonepreschool.co.uk so we can
advise on availability and book you into sessions.
Due to the need to forward plan correct levels of staffing to cover our sessions, we will need
advance notice of any changes in hours. Our standard notice period is 4 weeks for any
cancellations of sessions.
*There is a £25 admin fee that is required to secure your required place, failure to pay this may result in your space not being secured. (This amount is refundable after the first term of your child’s attendance.)
